To enable its clients to make optimum use of its translation interface, SYSTRAN has always taken care to make its Translation Box as intuitive as possible. Today, the translation box on Translate Pro has been revamped with an intuitive design and new features.
What are these new features?
Quickly select and switch between languages
The translation area now displays quickly all available languages alphabetically. It is possible to filter the list in an instant by entering the first letters of the desired language. The latest languages used are now available in the Language bar, allowing you to easily translate between the 3 previously used languages.

One of Translate Pro’s ambitions is to provide a customized translation to the user’s needs. One of the latest Translate Pro features is the Alternative Translations for words & sentences. It allows clients to quickly adjust the translation according to the context.
Today, SYSTRAN has further improved the user experience around this feature.
It is possible to select a word or a part of the text in the translation zone in order to launch the dictionary under the translation zone. It is also possible to easily check the definitions of words and their contextualization on 2 columns. Finally, the customers can fold/unfold the categories according to their needs.
Re-discover the translation settings
The Translation Box settings have been completely revamped to offer customers a better experience with contextual screenshots, giving more guidance about each option. Clients can select their display preferences or choose which of their resources to see during translation.
Easily apply and translate the desired Translation Profile
A Translation Profile regroups an array of translation options allowing to customize the translations. Clients can now easily create or apply a Translation Profile from the Translation Box Settings.
Clients can search a profile to apply by filtering the list of available Translation Profiles for a given language pair and apply it directly to customize translation.
They can also check and apply a Translation Profile without leaving the Translation Box by enabling the Translation Profile Drawer Icon. Clients will then be able to check other Profiles’ Translation and differences and select the desired one on the fly!
Set language preferences with one click
Clients can specify language preferences by order of importance in order for the system to choose the best appropriate translation profile when they are in language auto-detection mode or if no profile has been selected for a given language pair.
